A check before collection
For applicable EU renewals, UptimeOwl revalidates VAT before collection. If the validation service is unavailable, collection can wait while verification is retried rather than assuming a tax exemption.
A delay is not a failed card payment
This tax-verification hold does not start the failed-payment grace period or its reminders. It also does not change the existing billing-cycle anchor.
What you can do
Review the billing country and VAT number in your profile. Avoid repeatedly changing plans or retrying payments to bypass a pending verification. If the pending state persists, contact support with the billing period and the visible message, without sharing payment details.
