Connect where your team works
Your workspace owner connects a Slack incoming webhook or a Microsoft Teams Workflows URL in Account → Notifications. Choose the destination in the corresponding service.
KEEP YOUR TEAM IN THE LOOP
When a monitor needs attention, bring the update to the conversation your team already follows. UptimeOwl connects confirmed downtime and recovery to Slack or Microsoft Teams, with both integrations included from your first Free nest.

Notifications follow confirmed downtime and recovery, using your monitor’s thresholds. A brief failed check does not have to become a conversation-stopping alert.
Switch an integration off without deleting its configuration. Review the latest ten deliveries across channels, with the monitor and service icon beside each entry.
A MOMENT FROM EVERYDAY MONITORING
Your team follows a customer API in a Slack channel. When the monitor meets its failure threshold, UptimeOwl queues a downtime alert for that connection. When recovery is confirmed, the channel gets a recovery update too. Prefer Teams? Connect the workflow for your team’s destination instead, or use both integrations.
Delivery depends on a working integration and the destination provider. A Teams workflow accepting a request does not always mean its message action has finished successfully.
FROM FIRST STEP TO STEADY WATCH
As workspace owner, open Account → Notifications and save your Slack webhook or Teams Workflows URL. Keep the URL private.
Send a test and check the actual destination. For Teams, inspect workflow runs if the request succeeds but the message does not appear.
Leave the integration enabled for confirmed monitor changes. Use Recent deliveries to investigate attempts, and switch the integration off when you need a pause.
ROOM FOR YOUR WATCH
Slack and Microsoft Teams alerts are included on Free, Starter, Team, Business and Enterprise. Monitor email alerts require a paid plan.
Workspace-level connections, independent enable switches and recent delivery history.
Yes. Both integrations are available on Free, Starter, Team, Business and Enterprise. Email monitor alerts require a paid plan; they are separate from these channel integrations.
The workspace owner configures connections in Account → Notifications. The saved connection belongs to that workspace, rather than a shared destination for every tenant.
Per-monitor channel overrides are not available yet. These connections are managed at workspace level.
Check that the integration is enabled and the monitor has a confirmed downtime or recovery event. Review Recent deliveries. For Teams, also inspect the workflow run and destination; provider acceptance alone is not proof that the message was posted.
Maintenance, paused monitors and workspace suspension can suppress notifications. Use the relevant monitor’s settings and delivery history to check whether an alert was expected.
