Email monitor alerts are included with Starter, Team, Business and Enterprise. They are not included with Free.
The workspace owner can configure email alerts in Account → Notifications and choose eligible workspace members as recipients. Use the test action to confirm delivery. These are workspace settings; per-monitor recipient overrides are not available yet.
When a monitor needs time to settle
After 5 confirmed downtime incidents within 15 minutes, UptimeOwl temporarily pauses email alerts for that monitor. Email resumes after 15 continuous healthy minutes.
Failures, maintenance and stale gaps interrupt that healthy period. Old paused alerts are not replayed; one stable-recovery email is queued when delivery resumes. Slack, Teams and account or billing emails are unaffected.
