Understand effective intervals and retained history after a plan change.

Intervals follow the effective plan
A monitor cannot run faster than the current plan permits. If the saved interval is shorter after a downgrade, the effective checking interval is slowed to the plan minimum without rewriting the original chosen value.
History can be hidden without being deleted
History outside the current allowance is hidden. Open incidents stay visible. Permanent deletion of older retained history has been deferred; reducing an allowance does not by itself mean those records were erased.
Counts still need attention
Review the plan-change preview and any quota message before confirming. Do not assume a downgrade will silently delete excess resources for you. Suspended workspaces preserve their data under the suspension behavior.
