Pause a monitor
Use Pause on a monitor to stop its scheduled checks. Resume starts checking again according to its saved settings and plan allowance.
Paused monitors and their recent downtimes are excluded from public iframe widgets. In the mobile app, owners and permitted admins can use Pause monitor or Resume monitor on a card or its detail screen. A spinner shows while the change is saved; wait for confirmation before leaving. If the connection fails, refresh to check the current state before trying again.
Plan a maintenance window
Use the monitor’s maintenance settings for a planned interruption. Maintenance suppresses notifications for the window, helping your team distinguish expected work from an unexpected issue.
Disabling a notification integration is different from pausing a monitor: the monitor keeps checking while that channel is switched off.
