Welcome visitors in their language

Use Page localization above the status-page sections to choose English, Greek, Ukrainian, Russian, German, French, Italian, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, Romanian or Bulgarian. The writing note shows the selected language. In Settings, write its page title; in Branding, write its heading detail, introduction and footer. Your logo, colors, theme and other settings are shared. Switching languages keeps your unsaved text.

Leave translated title, heading or introduction empty to use a welcoming default in that language. A missing translated footer keeps your English footer, including company links. Monitor labels, groups and incident or maintenance messages stay as written; they are not automatically translated. Restore owl defaults clears translated branding but keeps page titles.

Preview draft and Copy public link follow the selected language. The address without a language suffix always opens English. Other languages have their own address, such as /your-workspace-identifier/el for Greek or /your-workspace-identifier/de for German. Visitors can also switch languages at the top of the public page. Save draft, then Publish to share all your translations together.

Make your public perch feel familiar

Owners and admins on Business and Enterprise can set the page title in Status page → Settings. Open Branding to choose a Heading detail above the title, a short introduction, your logo and four colors: page background, component cards, text and accent.

Heading detail allows up to 120 plain-text characters. Its default is “A LITTLE CLARITY, AROUND THE CLOCK”; leave it blank to hide the line. Preview shows your draft; save and publish to change the live wording.

An uploaded logo replaces the UptimeOwl wordmark at the top. In Settings, add a Logo click-through URL to open your website in a new tab when visitors click it, or leave it blank to keep the logo unlinked. The public page keeps only the short “Clear signals. A steadier day. Powered by UptimeOwl.” footer. Use Custom footer (HTML) for company details, formatted text and helpful links. Paragraphs, bold/italic text and lists are supported, up to 8,000 characters including markup. Use complete HTTP/HTTPS links or mailto links for email; scripts, embeds and custom styles are removed. Preview draft shows the result. In Settings, turn on White label to hide only the UptimeOwl attribution; your custom footer stays visible. Save and publish to apply changes. In Settings, add your own Google Analytics measurement ID, such as G-ABC1234567, to measure visits to the published page. Spaces are removed on save. Preview never sends analytics; saving a draft leaves the public configuration unchanged. Clear the field, save and publish to disable it. UptimeOwl’s own analytics property is not added to your page. Restore owl defaults brings the attribution back and clears your custom footer, logo destination and Analytics ID. Status-page settings are independent of widgets. Text must have at least 4.5:1 contrast on both backgrounds; service-status colors keep their meaning. Introductions support plain text up to 240 characters.

Choose your public-page theme

Open Status page → Settings and choose Page theme. Classic is the default and keeps the calm overview. Recent checks adds up to 30 check results beneath each visible monitor, ordered oldest to newest, with the latest on the right. Hover a result for its status and UTC time.

Only results within your plan’s history allowance are shown. Paused monitors stay hidden, and private errors and response details are never included. Preview draft shows the selected theme; save and publish to change the live page. Logo click-through URL, Google Analytics measurement ID and White label are also in Settings. Your logo upload, heading detail, introduction, colors and custom footer remain in Branding.

Choose a small, clear logo

Choose a still PNG, JPEG or WebP up to 512 KB and 16 megapixels. UptimeOwl resizes it within 512 by 256 pixels and converts it to WebP. The thumbnail beside Remove logo shows your selection. If uploads are unavailable, ask your workspace owner to contact support; text and colors still work.

Logos upload when you save or preview. A draft logo remains private until you publish it. Replacing a draft logo does not remove the logo from the live page.

Take a look before sharing

Preview may upload a selected logo so it can be displayed securely. Preview links are not public sharing links. Restore owl defaults resets the introduction and colors and removes the draft logo; save and publish to apply the reset. Your title and monitor selection stay in place.

  1. Set your title, introduction, colors and selected components.
  2. In Settings, use Preview draft at the top right of the public-address card to open the public layout in a large preview. This shows current states for the first 20 components and the outlook for all selected components. It does not publish or save your settings.
  3. Choose Save draft, then Publish when everything feels right. The public page picks up the new look on its next refresh.

Share one steady address

Once published, open Settings and choose Copy public link at the top right of the public-address card. The address uses your workspace identifier and stays the same when you edit the title or branding. Copy is unavailable until the page is published.

Unpublish brings the page back inside your nest. Visitors cannot open the page or its logo while it is unpublished, suspended or no longer included in your plan. Your saved draft stays ready for later.
